Tyler is a passionate field logistics specialist with a dedication to exploration and cross-cultural engagement. Most recently, he served as an expedition team member on a mapping project in Afghanistan’s Wakhan Corridor, where he collaborated with an international team and local contacts to assess the region's potential for commercial treks. This experience reflects Tyler’s commitment to meaningful exploration that connects people across diverse landscapes and cultures.
With a background in logistics coordination and outdoor leadership, Tyler has managed international projects and worked in dynamic environments worldwide, including the North Slope of Alaska, sub-Saharan Africa, South Asia, Central Asia, and Central America. In his past role as an Arctic Ocean tour guide and as an international logistics coordinator, he demonstrated strong leadership, logistical expertise, and a talent for building rapport with team members and guests alike. His emotional intelligence and ability to confidently manage complex and high pressure cross-cultural scenarios, alongside his Wilderness First Responder certification, equip him well for hands-on fieldwork.
Tyler grew up in central Minnesota and holds an Associate’s Degree in Science. He now resides in the mountains of Northern Georgia and combines his love for the outdoors with a methodical approach to environmental stewardship and safety, bringing a unique blend of technical skill, compassion, and adventurous spirit to each new challenge.
